This is a great throwback to 2001, with Billy Owens, one of the pioneers of competitive fast-pitch WIFFLE Ball. We need to bring back the days of print where you could walk to the end of the drive way and pick-up the newspaper. It would also be nice if the sport had its own magazine in hard copy…so every month you would have a nice little gift in the mailbox. I remember as a kid receiving Sports Illustrated for Kids, TAE KWON-Do Times, Thrasher and Transworld Skating Magazine. Nothing beats a good mag!
What will the future bring? Will we see copies of “Holes UP” & “RISER” appear in newsstands across America? Or maybe as digital content on a iPad or tablet?
Anyways, enjoy the article and remember what it was like to hold a newspaper in your hand with a cup of coffee.
