I downloaded the Big League App to keep stats in our own wiffle league. I am having a few issue that hopefully you can help with (or maybe update). 1) even though I changed the default innings per game… the games dont see to end. 2) is there a way to inact a mercy limit by inning. We use an 8 run mercy limit for a pitcher per inning. i dont see a way to end an inning on the app without recording 3 outs.

Hi Mike,
Thanks for touching base! We appreciate you downloading the app. I will have the app developer email you asap.
Did you try to update the version of the app in the store? Also, what platform are you using it for?

I just tried to run a simulated game through, even with the default innings set to 3, I am up to the 12th inning with the score 10 – 0… let the developer know that to have an option to manually end the inning (like in the case of a mercy) would be beyond awesome

Hi Mike,
Hopefully this answers your earlier questions…
From Developer:
1) There isn’t really and “end game” condition right now. The inning length is only important if you also set the “extra base runners in extra innings” value. When you are done, you just quit scoring. The stats page for a game is always available in-progress or not.
2) There isn’t currently a way to quit an inning early. That should be fairly easy to add, and I’ll do it for a future version (within a couple of weeks). You can change pitchers however, so you could do that and still complete the inning – but that doesn’t sound like exactly what you are looking for.

Thank you for the quick replies. You guys rock!… you are correct, what I am looking for is a way to end the inning without having to retire any batters… We only allow a team to give up 8 runs in any given inning (except for the last). Having that feature would make this app perfect. I will keep an eye out for the update.

Gave the app a try this weekend and notice a few more things you guys may want to tweak…The ability to manually move runners would be a wlecomed addition. We ran into it a few times where out rules allow a runner to score from second with two outs on a single however, the apps doesnt let this happen.. an option to add a player mid game…its a minor things but could be nice. It normally doesnt happen but we had a few people show up late to jump into the game and the only way to account for them was to start a new game… lastly, the ability to delete a game you started scoring. Its not much of an issue now but as the games build up, i can see me wanting to delete the old ones. Not sure if keeping all the game info also plays a part in slowing down the app speed

I recently purchased your app to use for my wiffleball league. I’m having a problem. I tried emailing the stats and all I got was one line of text, no stats. I then tried plugging my phone into the computer to move to excell, but there was no way to find the stats to transfer. Please help. I think your app is awesome otherwise.

Thank you. I received a reply from the developer. It didn’t quite answer my question though. And it was a noreply. So, I will try again. When I email it, the following is what I get. Box Score<table id
That's it. That's the body of the message. I am using the Samsung Galaxy 2 from Sprint. That was using the hotmail email program. I also tried to send it using Gmail, but it keeps crashing.
It would be much easier if Luke would give me a direct email, so I can get this all worked out. We are playing tonight, so I will have new stats to download.
Thanks again.

I haven’t received any reply from my last post. Can you please help?
Thanks

Unkle Lenny,
Android version has some limitations since it sends text-only email. You can get around it by copying that line of text into a new file (in notepad or similar) and saving it as somefilename.xls – then it will open in Excel (with a warning).

I tried what you said. All that it opens is the text line. There’s nothing else there. How does your app work with Ipad or Iphone?
