Do you have sports cards just sitting around collecting dust? Are you a mom who wants to get rid of your son’s cards, but doesn’t want to catch grief for throwing them out? Do you want to help put a smile on the face of a child in need? If you answered yes to any of these questions, we have a great program for you!

 
Cards2Kids is a charitable organization that collects sports cards and donates them to child-focused charities, organizations and hospitals. New Jersey teen Ben Schragger is the East Coast Ambassador for this national charity which started in Chicago. Ben has loved playing baseball since age 5, and currently plays for his high school and local Babe Ruth League. As an avid card collector, Ben enjoys sharing his love of sports with kids who are less fortunate.

 
Since joining Cards2Kids in January, Ben has distributed over 10,000 cards to the various child-focused charities.

 
Cards2Kids recently launched a revamped website www.Cards2Kids.org, and continues to acquire fans on Facebook and Twitter (@Cards2Kids). Collection box locations and shipping addresses can be found on our website. For donation questions, or if you know of a charity whose children would enjoy receiving packs of sports cards, please contact us at cards2kids@gmail.com.

It maybe never really left, though. You can still remember the days playing as a kid, those nostalgic times of fun and excitement with your neighborhood friends. Wiffle ball is a sport that is a fun reminder of times past. Now, wiffle ball is making a resurgence, with tournament play, cash prizes and a competitive and organized movement allowing America to see it in a whole new light.

 
The Nostalgic Factor
Whether playing ball for free with your friends at a park or playing in a competitive tournament of winner-take-all event, you are doing something you truly love and enjoy. It has all the makings of baseball, but there is so much more for a new generation. Forget the wiffle ball you played as a kid. The cost will be $60 per person with FREE/discounted Golden Stick Seasons up for grabs.

1 on 1 Gameplay Overview:

-Each field has 2 mounds – Fast Pitch’s distance: 48 feet, Yard distance: 43.5 feet

-Pitchers choose at the beginning of each inning which mound they’ll throw from

-If from the Yard mound, the pitcher will conform to Yard League speed regulations (40mph) and be granted a 0-1 count at the start of every at bat. Batters will use the standard sized Golden Stick Yard League bats

-If from the Fast mound, the pitcher will have no speed limit and a 0-0 count. Batters will use the standard sized Golden Stick Fast Pitch bats

-Tournament will be round robin with elimination games to follow

-Matching uniforms of some sort encouraged
