September 2, 2009 Some Guys Take a Hit

Justin Waxman of Launchgum wanted to stop by the Big League Wiffle Ball Skype Studios for a second time to introduce us to his friend DJ Jukebox AND the loveable, cuddly... Gnome! July 24, 2009 Zachary Goodman... Take 2!

Zach is back! The Big, Bad, Mean(?) Zach Goodman just couldn't get enough of the Big League Wiffle Ball Show and host Charissa Cowart so he had to come back for a second helping. This time he talked about the yard league and where he thinks Man Bear Pig stands in the Top 10. Watch to find out if Zach even puts the tournament team in the Top 10.

 

July 9, 2009 The Triple Threat of Blue Razrs...

They took the Bronze medal in the Connecticut State Nutmeg Games last year, they have quite a few wins under their belt, they have their eye on the GOLD this year, and tonight they were one man short - they are the TRIPLE THREAT: Blue Razrs. Kevin, Dave, and Tyler! (We made sure to give Joe aka "Whitey" a very special hello.) The Triple Threat showed Big League Wiffle Ball Host Charissa Cowart how they scuff and knife their balls to prepare for games. They also promised to make a special one for her... July 5, 2009 “Big League” takes on a new meaning with Launchgum…

Tonight on the Big League Wiffle Ball Show, Charissa Cowart had the honor of not only hosting two very enthusiastic and "energetic" guys but also one very thirsty guy. Justin Waxman and Eric Pilon Bignell, co-founders of Launchgum, are big wiffle ball fans... and they kinda like that Nick Benas kid. So they came over to the Big League Wiffle Ball Skype Studios and spent about 30 minutes hanging out with Charissa. While doing that - they had a little game planned - every time Charissa said "Big League" or "Pilon Bignell," Eric had to take a shot. And well, let's just say, she said them more than once. Watch the video to see how many shots Eric had to take.

 

June 30, 2009 Hangin’ with Mr. Cooper!

That's right... Charissa Cowart was Hangin' with Mr. Cooper tonight... Kerel Cooper that is. Kerel is a huge New York Mets fan and his love for the Mets has turned him into a bigtime Mets blogger. He posts videos, recaps, and whole lot more on his blog OnTheBlack.com. He stopped in at the Big League Wiffle Ball studios to chat with Charissa Cowart about the Mets, baseball, and a new kiddie wiffle ball field complete with a dunking booth! Kerel and Charissa both decided it would be a GREAT idea to not only get Nick, Jared, and the rest of the BLWB gang out to play wiffle ball with the kids, but to also get Nick and Jared IN the dunking booth!

June 21, 2009 Here he is… Nick Amato… REPRESENTIN’!!

Nick Amato showed up at the Big League Wiffle Ball Show ready to REPRESENT for Krusty's Kids... and he did a darn good job of it! Nick is in charge of the July 25th tournament (along with Jack Caton) at Medway Massachusetts for Big League Wiffle Ball - and he invited our host Charissa Cowart to make a grand appearance - wonder if she will? Nick was coerced into trying Pert Plus... why? Watch to find out. And finally, someone made a SPECIAL Appearance, he just couldn't stand not being on the show... I'm sure you can guess who that was - Nick Benas :)

 

June 16, 2009 We’re taking over VEGAS!

Charissa Cowart took the Big League Wiffle Ball Show on the road... all the way to Vegas! She partied hard, lost some money, and caught the eye of a BLWB fan at the slot machines. You may have missed out on the Vegas fun, but guess what? Big League Wiffle Ball will be going back to Vegas and taking YOU with us!

 

June 2, 2009 The Big, Bad Zach Goodman!

He stands at a whopping 130 lbs and can hit one out of the park! Wiffleball that is... don't expect the same from baseball and Zach Goodman. Goodman, of ManBearPig stopped by the Big League Wiffle Ball Skype studios to chat with Charissa Cowart about, Harry Potter, Golden Stick Wiffleball, Big League Wiffle Ball and a few other curve ball questions that I threw at him. Goodman was a good sport and hit this interview out of the park!

 

May 25, 2009 Spellman brings the “COOL” to Wiffle

Baring his tattoo sleeves and all dressed up in his tuxedo tee, Mark Spellman (aka Sparky) sat down with Charissa Cowart to talk about the style of wiffle ball. Spellman, GSWL co-founder, says wiffle ball has typically had a reputation for being nerdy and a sport for kids. Well, he set that record straight with his "too cool for you" attitude and talked about the new clothing lines debuting to help boost the fashion sense of wiffle ball. If you don't believe me, take a look for yourself! He even managed to crack a few jokes... just a few.

Rob Piervinanzi (aka Wiffman), a 7-year veteran of wiffle ball, dropped by the Big League Wiffle Ball Show's Skype studios to chat with Charissa Cowart about what else... Wiffle Ball! Wiffman is the Director of the NY Region for Golden Stick Wiffleball League and talked about the big Jamboree that's just around the corner plus the future of wiffle ball, with or without the famous Wiffman.

The first episode was huge with Lou Levesque, President of Golden Stick Wiffleball League live on Skype with Charissa Cowart, Official Anchor of Big League Wiffle Ball.
